Koh Miang sits in the center of the Similan archipelago. It houses the marine park ranger station and two wide sand beaches.
Most speedboat tours stop here for beach time and lunch. You can easily walk between the two main shorelines using a short, shaded jungle path.
Since overnight stays are banned in the park, all visitors arrive on day trips. The beaches will get busy during peak midday hours. Taking the trail offers a brief change of scenery.

Princess Bay features exceptionally white sand and calm waters. It is a popular drop-off point for tour boats. You can swim or relax on the beach. You will also find the start of the jungle trail here.

This smaller beach sits on the opposite side of the island. It is slightly quieter than Princess Bay and features soft sand. Walk the connecting path and look up into the trees. You might spot Nicobar pigeons and flying foxes.
